Dr. Duane Mangum
Dr. Duane E. Mangum serves as the Founder and Senior Pastor of the Family Worship Center (formerly Imagine Me Family Worship Center). He began this pastoral journey in January of 2017 in Martinsburg West Virginia, later being led by God to relocate to Waldorf, Maryland in February of 2018.
A graduate of Trinity College of the Bible and Trinity Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Philosophy (With High Distinction) in Christian Counseling. Pastor Mangum holds Bachelor and Master Degrees in Business Administration and Management from Concordia University, as well as an Associates Degree in Education and Training Management from the Community College of the Air Force.
Dr. Mangum served in the Air Force and Navy that spanned over thirty-years and also is a retired Federal Government Civil Servant with over twenty-five years of service.
Dr. Mangum is the President & CEO of Blending To Make IT, LLC and a Certified SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) Facilitator, a License Christian Counselor and Pastoral Therapist.
Dr. Mangum has had the privilege of sharing God’s Word for over thirty-five years. As a Pastor, Teacher, Church Planter, Evangelist, and Youth Leader, he also has been afforded the incredible opportunity to minister across a multitude of denominational ministries, faith-based and secular organizations.
Dr. Mangum has authored two books: Blending To Make It: Ingredients For A Successful Blended Family and From The Incubator To The Kingdom: The Story of a Young Man’s Journey to fulfill his God-Given Purpose. He and his wife Michele have Co-Authored a book that is entitled, “Straight Talk About The Blended Family: Keeping It 100th, scheduled to be released in the winter.
Pastor Mangum and his wife FL Michele Mangum has accepted the call of God to be His Ambassadors to serve and advocate for Blended and Traditional Families, Youth, Young Adults and Senior Citizens within the local community and the world through the principles of Redemption, Restoration, and Reconciliation.
Dr. Mangum and FL Michele are in a blended family and the proud parents of three young adults and five grandchildren.

First Lady Michele D. Mangum currently serves as the Executive Pastor, Praise & Worship Leader and Outreach Coordinator for the church.
FL Michele is a retired Accountant, Event Planner, Arts & Crafts Coordinator, a Mentor to young ladies & women, a Christian Counselor - specializing in the Blended Family, the Co-Author of the soon to be released book “Straight Talk About The Blended Family” Keeping It 100.
FL Michele is the Co-Radio Host of “Straight Talk About The Blended Family” on the WBGR Health & Wellness Network.
FL Michele has been serving in ministry for over thirty-years as a Women’s Ministry Leader, Youth Leader, Homeless Advocate, Co-Facilitator of “Straight Talk” Young Adult Teaching Ministry, Choir and Praise & Worship Leader, Nursing Home Ministry and Street Ministry Leader.
FL Michele was born, raised & educated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Michele also creates beautiful corsages, bouquets, boutonnieres, ring bearer pillows & flower girl baskets, to name a few. Michele loves to create venues that take your breath away. She is married to Dr. Duane E. Mangum and they collectively have 3 adult children; Tiffany, Duane E. II, and Michael P. II. They collectively have 5 grandchildren; Raegen, Jabree, Arianna, Lotus & Michael P. III and are in a tremendously blessed Blended Family.
FL Michele loves to encourage and uplift people! She has an infectious smile and positive outlook on life. Her motto is “If it’s not life threatening – it’s not that deep!” Michele is a Christian and loves God and people!
FL Michele loves to sing, bowl, roller skate, do arts & craft projects, read & journal, do Sudoku, cryptograms, crossword puzzles, cook, bake, watch movies & play board games.
FL Michele believes that “laughter is good for the soul,” and she finds something to laugh about everyday!
